NoPalm Ingredients celebrates its one year of existence

 

Happy 1 year birthday to US!

One year ago, NoPalm Ingredients evolved from an idea to a reality.

Today marks a year since we established our headquarters, set up our first lab, purchased our first set of technical equipment and hired our first employee.
We beat our own planning time and time again and our current team of 13 devoted employees continues to exceed expectations.

A few highlights of 12 months at NoPalm Ingredients:

 ✅ Secured first round of funding of €1M and doubled that with several high-profile grants

 ✅Established proof of scalability of our fermentation platform and customizability of our oils & fats

 ✅Externally validated Life Cycle Assessment of our technology showing 90% CO2 reduction vs palm

 ✅ Successfully fermented various “waste streams” such as Potato Peels, Rejected Vegetables, Chocolate, Avocado, Brewers spent grain, and many more

 ✅Built a strong pipeline of interested customers across food, personal and home care

 ✅Launched our first customization pilots with high-profile customers

 ✅Grew the team from 4 to 13: truly the GREATEST team I could have wished for

 ✅Received recognition and won many awards, both in NL and abroad

 ✅Participated in three amazing accelerators leading to great connections

 ✅Featured in several media channels (a.o RTL Z, NPO1, FD, NRC, FOOD Navigator, BNR, and many others)

 ✅Increased our LinkedIn followers to ~3K

 ✅Expanded our office and lab space to 450m2
